Hi, I’m Alana Lerner. I’m a third-generation educator with more than 15 years of experience across K-12 classrooms, national education nonprofits, and workforce development organizations.
As an education consultant at Lifelong Lerner Consulting, I strategically partner with schools, organizations, and educators to approach technology responsibly, strengthen teaching and learning, and prepare learners for the future of work.

My Approach
Education is constantly changing. However, the core, essential ingredients needed to spark a lifelong love of learning remain the same: human relationships, curiosity, rigor, and joy.
I create opportunities for schools, organizations, and educators to pause and intentionally build spaces that align with those ingredients.
These days, that means reflecting on technology use and ensuring evidence-based methods are prioritized. It requires aligning curriculum and training that will prepare learners for real workforce expectations. And it calls for educational experiences that preserve the joy and humanity at the center of learning.
I bring both analytical precision and classroom-rooted empathy to my work, always understanding the “why” behind the work and honoring the expertise of the educators and leaders I partner with.
